Mortgage Loan Officer

Principal Duties
- Originate mortgage loan applications and prepare effective loan packages
- Determine a consumer’s needs and offer the appropriate product
- Provide consumers with a superior level of customer service
- Maintain compliance with Mortgage 1’s Code of Conduct
- Meet monthly minimum personal production goals

Licensing & Special Requirements
- Valid NMLS license.
Branch Manager
Manages Loan Officers and monitors sales in relation to branch goals and profitability. Manages all branch personnel including recommendations for hiring, firing, performance evaluation, mentoring and coaching, rewards, training, work allocation and problem resolution.
Maintains awareness of company and agency policies and procedures. Ensures all quality and operational standards are maintained in line with company expectations and implements new procedures as required. Monitors and is accountable for branch profit/expenses.
Personal Loan Production
Sells to and maintains contact with the public; promotes positives relations with realtors, customers, title companies, appraisers etc.
Meets a personal production goal and follows the guidelines as stated in the Loan Officer Employment Agreement.
Education & Experience
Minimum 5 years’ experience in residential loan origination, with knowledge of sales management and marketing.

Mortgage Underwriter
- We are seeking an Experienced Mortgage Underwriter. A minimum of 2 years current experience with FHA and Conventional mortgage underwriting is required. The ideal candidate will have sound manual underwriting skills using DU or LP as a tool to assist in the credit decision.
- Must have two years current experience underwriting Conv. & FHA loan programs
- Experience with VA, USDA and FHA 203k helpful
- Must maintain a high level of productivity while not sacrificing quality
- Ability to prioritize work-load
- Maintain customer service levels and loan integrity
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Appraisal Review Coordinator
We are seeking an individual with experienced in reviewing mortgage appraisals to support our underwriting staff. Responsibilities include:
- Complete initial appraisal review to determine adequacy & completeness of report.
- Run collateral assessment tools and/or upload appraisal data file to agency portal.
- Compare results from assessment tools and agency feedback to appraisal.
- Monitor and prioritize daily workflow to ensure required turn times are met.
- Communicate with credit underwriter and origination staff on status and conditions from appraisal review.
- Other projects that may be assigned.
- Desired Skills & Experience
- Minimum of two years’ experience reviewing mortgage appraisals.
- Familiarity with Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice laws.
- Familiarity with Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac appraisal requirements, including the Home Valuation Code of Conduct.
- Excellent general computer skills and ability to learn new software programs quickly.
- Prior real estate or home mortgage experience is preferred.
- Strong time management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
Mortgage Processor
Mortgage Processor- Seeking a Mortgage Processor who is familiar with Conventional and FHA loan products and guidelines. The Processor works closely with the Loan Officer, Borrower, Real Estate Agents and Underwriters to gather documentation and ensure loans are taken from application to closing in a timely fashion. This is a Team-Work environment.
- Must have experience processing Conventional & FHA loan programs
- Experience with VA, USDA and FHA 203k helpful
- Must maintain a high level of productivity while not sacrificing quality
